Super Falcons Vice President, Osinbajo charges team ahead of AWCON

The players got words of encouragement from Osinbajo who visited the squad after meeting with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.


The Vice-President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo visited the Super Falcons squad on Tuesday, November 8 to charge them ahead of the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.

The Super Falcons are currently in Abuja camp preparing for the 2016 AWCON which kicks off on Saturday, November 19 in Cameroon.

The players got words of encouragement from Osinbajo who visited the squad after meeting with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Osinbajo charged the team to give their best at the tournament and promised all necessary support from the federal government.
After rounding up the Women's Super League (WSL) with Arsenal Ladies, Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala.
Oshoala played and scored for Arsenal Ladies in their last game of the season against Liverpool on Sunday, November 6.
Two days later, the forward was back in Nigeria, joining up the team at their Abuja camp.
