Timi Frank 'APC will break if I'm expelled' - Embattled spokesman says

Frank also threatened to sue the APC Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun for contempt of court.

The suspended Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Timi Frank doom is imminent for the party if he is forced out.

He stated this in Abuja on Thursday, November 24, in response to the news of National Working Committee of the party which upheld the recommendations of the panel set up by the South-South Zone of the APC.
The panel had recommended the immediate suspension and subsequent expulsion of Frank from the party for making disparaging comments about the party and its Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.
Frank threatened to sue Odigie-Oyegun for contempt of court, claiming that the latest pronouncement is in contempt of a subsisting court order asking both parties to maintain status quo ante.
"Any attempt to suspend or expel him from APC will break the party," a statement quoted Frank to have said.
"I dare the National Chairman to convene NEC meeting and see who will be removed between two of us.
"The claim by one of Odigie-Oyegun’s foot soldiers, (Mr.) Oji Ngofa, that NWC had taken a decision to hold on with the report of a kangaroo zonal committee that recommended my suspension was a blatant lie," the statement said.A five-man committee, led by Solomon Edoja set up by the south-south zonal vice chairman of the party, Hilliard Etta, after investigating the complaints against Frank, recommended him for suspension.
