In 2010 Tiwa Savage came into the Nigerian music industry quickly making her mark with her single ‘Kele Kele Love’.

Helping her up the ladder was her manager Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun whom she met in the United States.

Fast forward 2012 there were strong rumours that Tiwa Savage had started dating Tee Billz which was confirmed at the Elite Model Look Nigeria 2012.

Ever since, the two have been giving us couple goals before April  this year.

1. When Tee Billz proposed

 

Tee Billz proposal has to be one of our best memorable moments of the estranged couple. On February 6, 2013 Tee Billz took the bold step and proposed to Tiwa Savage.

The proposal took place just when trolls thought she was too old to get married, during her 33rd birthday party at a restaurant.

During her birthday party attended by Don Jazzy, Banky W and Praiz. After the singing of the birthday song by Praiz, Tee Billz went down on one knee and asked Tiwa Savage to be his wife.

Of course she said yes!

2. Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz Wedding

 

Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz got married on April 26, 2014 in Dubai. Tee Billz and Tiwa could be seen crying as they said their vows. Some guests cried too.

Doves were released in the venue. Fans called it the most beautiful thing ever.

3. First wedding anniversary

The couple celebrated their first anniversary with cute, short and precise messages to one another. 

Tiwa’s wrote: “I love you”. Tee Billz on the otherhand wrote, "Only God can write our love story #ThankYouJesus."

But the highlight was when they shared never before seen photos on their wedding.

4. Birth of their son

 

Savage delivered her son in New Jersey on 22, July 2015 but didn't introduce him to the world till December 2015.

The couple shared an adorable photo of Jam Jam while his half naked dad carried him.

5. Marriage Scandal

 

Tee Billz lashed out at his wife on Instagram on April 28, 2016 complaining of neglect, accused his wife of having sex with Dr. Sid, Don Jazzy and 2face Idibia, claimed his mother-in-law is a witch who has blocked his destiny and spoke about his fractured relationship with his father.

It was later revealed he tried committing suicide on the same day after which Tiwa in a candid interview accused him of being a crack addict, thievery and adultery.
