Music star welcomes baby boy with lover abroad

Nigerian pop singer Jaywon has welcomed a baby boy from his romance with a long-time lover based in Europe and it’s many shades of awesome seeing him hold the kid in new photos making the rounds “All glory to God, Another king is born!!! #NewMonthNewBlessing #GbogboOpeFunBabaLoke #OlaOluwaLafinDara,” he wrote as a caption on one of the photos.

Born Oluwajuwonlo Edahi, Jaywon is most popular for his 2012 hit song This Year. In an exclusive interview with NAIJ.com in 2015, he spoke on the Oba Orin (king of music) moniker with which he’s been referred to in recent times. “I did not name myself King of Music, my fans gave me that name, so I had no choice than to stick to it. Speaking about the marketer, the manager as well is also in love with the title Oba Orin, so little can I say. “Basically, all the songs on my album says a lot of things about me, my life, about how many people I have met, those who have been supportive and a whole lot. I also have a song with Reekado Banks titled, Banging and another song with Tiwa Savage.”

On leaving Kennis Music and life afterwards, he said: “It has been good and besides I do not like scandal. Ever since I left the record label, so many people have called to ask questions but I keep mum about a lot of things because I like the way my life is. I make the music I wanna make. "I live the kind of life I want to live and I push myself the way I want to be pushed. I just do my thing no problem no issue. But life has been good to God be the Glory.” He also added that his contract expired and there were little disagreements in the course of negotiating a fresh contract hence his decision to move on.
