Wike APC says Governor is lying about the withdrawal of his CSO

The Rivers police also told reporters that they don't know of any change in the Government House security.

The Rivers state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that Governor Nyesom Wike is not telling the truth about his Chief Security Officer (CSO’s) withdrawal.

Wike had earlier alleged that the police authorities withdrew his CSO and other security personnel from the state Government House.
According to Premium Times, the APC National Secretary, Mala Buni said “Again, the PDP and the Rivers State Governor are haunted by their horrible past misdeeds.
“Nigerians recall how Wike, then a PDP Minister used federal institutions to harass, intimidate and threaten the life of perceived political enemies particularly Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who was then governor of Rivers State.
“Under Wike’s watch, political thugs and criminal gangs have continued to kill and maim APC members and innocent citizens in Rivers State.”
The Rivers State police command also told Premium Times that they are not aware of any change in the security of the Government House in Port Harcourt.
The APC candidate in the upcoming  Rivers South East senatorial district rerun election, Senator Magnus Abe also accused Governor Wike of inciting violence.
