A serving soldier with the Nigeria Army escaped death by the whiskers at the hands of an angry mob in Warri, Delta State, for allegedly stealing a mobile phone.

recognized him at a popular shopping complex in the oil-rich city,
called Robson G. Shopping Plaza, located on Okumagba Avenue, and raised
an alarm.
